Compassionate cancer support
since 2010
Nepal Cancer Support Group works to make cancer awareness, screening, counseling, and support services more accessible for patients, families, and communities across Nepal.
Our Mission
To promote cancer awareness, prevention, early detection, screening, treatment support, counseling, survivorship care, experience sharing, and advocacy across Nepal.
Nepal Cancer Support Group is committed to creating a supportive community where people affected by cancer can receive guidance, emotional strength, reliable information, and access to awareness and screening opportunities — bringing together cancer survivors, families, health professionals, social workers, volunteers, and concerned individuals.
Our Vision
To build a cancer-aware Nepal where every individual understands the importance of prevention, early detection, timely treatment, and emotional support.
We envision a Nepal where cancer survivors and their families are empowered to live with dignity, hope, and confidence — supported by a strong community network, accessible screening services, and compassionate care at every step of their journey.
The principles that guide us
Six values form the foundation of everything NCSG does — from community programs to survivor support and beyond.
Compassion
We believe every person affected by cancer deserves care, respect, emotional support, and understanding throughout their journey. Compassion drives how we interact, listen, and serve.
Awareness
We are committed to educating communities about cancer prevention, warning signs, screening, and early diagnosis — because knowledge is the first and most powerful step toward saving lives.
Support
We bring together survivors, families, medical professionals, volunteers, and communities to create a strong, enduring support network so that no one faces cancer alone.
Advocacy
We work to promote cancer-related awareness, better access to screening, and stronger community participation in cancer prevention and care across Nepal.
Collaboration
We partner with hospitals, national and international organizations, schools, communities, and social institutions to expand cancer awareness and support activities.
Hope
We believe that cancer awareness, early detection, treatment support, and shared experiences can give people strength, confidence, and hope — reminding everyone that a better tomorrow is possible.
How we create impact
We combine education, direct support, and volunteer mobilization to build stronger cancer support systems across every community we serve.
Awareness and Early Detection
Community sessions, school outreach, and public campaigns to improve symptom awareness and timely screening behavior. We run awareness lectures, school-level sensitization sessions, and public discussions to help people understand cancer prevention, early signs, and treatment possibilities.
Patient and Family Guidance
Support for navigating care options, referrals, treatment communication, and psychosocial needs. We create spaces where cancer survivors, patients, families, and caregivers can share experiences, ask questions, and receive emotional support.
Volunteer and Survivor Networks
Local volunteer teams and survivor-led engagement activities that strengthen confidence and community support. We mobilize media, hospitals, schools, and social organizations to promote cancer prevention and patient support.
Training and Partnership
In collaboration with national and international partners, NCSG has supported oncology nursing training programs to strengthen cancer care services. We coordinate with hospitals, civil society, and institutions to extend quality support services across Nepal.
Work with us for stronger cancer
support in Nepal
We welcome volunteers, donors, and institutional partners who want to support patient-centered cancer care and awareness across Nepal.
